Sarse's Number MFP 1979

For more than eight years, MFPBadges.com.au has been committed to researching and accurately recreating Main Force Patrol badges, insignia, and memorabilia from the original Mad Max film. During that time, we explored every available avenue to identify Sarse's original MFP number, including direct contact with actor Stephen Clark, who portrayed the character. Unfortunately, even Stephen was unable to recall the number used for Sarse, and no known production material or surviving screen reference has conclusively identified it.

After extensive consideration, a decision was made to release the Sarse character badge set featuring the number MFP1979. This number was chosen as a tribute to the year Mad Max was released and serves as a respectful acknowledgement of both the character and the enduring legacy of the film. Rather than assigning a random number, MFP1979 commemorates the release of the movie that launched the Mad Max phenomenon and continues to inspire fans around the world.
